HP is a Consultant with over 44 years of Plant Engineering, Reliability, and Maintenance Engineering experience. He has managed storerooms to peak efficiency and optimized inventory levels. HP’s chief experience includes 33 years in the Pharmaceutical & Chemical Industry, but he has also worked across a broad range of industries, including Manufacturing and Public Utilities.


HP has extensive experience with MRO materials management with a focus on inventory record processes, creation, and conversion from legacy systems to current world-class systems (Maximo and DataStream/Infor10 EAM) and setting up the materials in inventory with proper reorder criteria for strategic management and focused on inventory optimization. In addition, he has experience linking the MRO inventory data to equipment to provide craft-directed Bills of Materials and has actively trained employees to meet reliability and maintenance requirements. He has also been an instructor for the Materials Management Strategies seminar for over 18 years.
 

HP also has experience as a Reliability and Maintenance engineer implementing reliability practices. He has developed asset management processes for several industries: involving equipment master processes, equipment maintenance, and selection of condition-based monitoring practices for reliability management and process improvement.


HP in a facility and production maintenance role, conducted multiple major pharmaceutical (sterile manufacturing) and utility shutdowns covering all major crafts and new equipment installations with success and customer satisfaction. His areas of expertise span a wide range of areas including equipment data development; planner BOM development; job plans; Safety Plan development for Lock-out-Tag-out and is an experienced trainer who is familiar with different maintenance methodologies and their applications.

 

HP has a unique position in the maintenance management role. He has extensive experience in engineering as a Reliability/Maintenance/Facility engineer along with a depth of experience in inventory management processes that supports a fully efficient maintenance operation and asset management processes.
